Kantech provides a powerful yet easy to use access control and digital video solution with its EntraPass access control software integrated with the American Dynamics® Intellex® Digital Video Management System. By combining the intuitive EntraPass interface with the power of Intellex, you can monitor video real-time through the access control system as well as play back recorded video. This link between access control events and pertinent video clips provides security personnel with video evidence of potential security violations and incidents. This integrated solution is made even more robust with EntraPass Video Vault, a feature that allows you to automatically archive and password-protect video clips through the EntraPass system.
Enhanced Video Integration
Integration with American Dynamics Intellex provides real-time video monitoring as well as video playback. Video can be linked to access events and recorded from 1 to 16 cameras from different Intellex systems simultaneously. Different views (1 x 1, 2 x 2, 3 x 3, and 4 x 4 mode), presets called from any kind of alarm, sequences, and dome control are available through the EntraPass software. All cameras can be called up directly from a floor plan simply by double-clicking on the camera icon.
EntraPass Video Vault Option
Get automated archiving for your video clips with EntraPass Video Vault. Installed on your system's network, EntraPass Video Vault offers an alternative to manually saving each video clip one by one.
Simply pre-define groups for your video clips (such as Door Forced or Rejected Card) and Video Vault saves all video to the appropriate group based on whatever schedule you choose. You can also pre-designate which file type you want video clips saved as-.KVI, .KVA, .IMG, or .AVI-and whether these files, if .KVI or .KVA, are assigned password-protection.
Organize your video clips using thumbnail .BMP images in lieu of icons. Select the first frame (taken from the onset of pre-alarm footage), the event frame (which coincides with the precise moment of the alarm), or any other frame within the clip that you prefer. Video Vault can connect up to 128 Intellex systems as you choose to integrate with EntraPass and can archive the video that you import to as many as 24 digital storage devices.
