Server - Workstation Application |
The server is the central point of this Software. It is responsible for storing the data, the events and running the reports. It is the link between all the other applications and the door controllers, local or remote.
Workstation Application (Maximum 20 + 1 workstation/server) |
The workstation is your interface into the access control system. It allows you to program the system, interact with it through dynamic real time graphics and request reports.
Gateway Application (Maximum 41) |
This application is responsible for the communication between the software and the controllers. Each gateway application can interface with up to 32 local site (through COM ports, USB or IP) and 512 remote site using IP Link or dial-up (32 controllers/ loop).
Redundant Server Application |
The redundant server will take over for the server in case of server communication failure. Thus allowing the different software components to function normally until the communication problems are restored.
Card Gateway Application |
This portion of the software allows the user to integrate the card database with an Oracle or SQL application. This is useful for human resources information to be shared with the EntraPass Corporate software.
Smartlink Application |
This application is a great tool for integration. It allows connectivity through a bi-directional RS-232 link to any other component like a matrix switch, a digital recorder, etc. The Smartlink can also automatically send e-mail to anybody on any predefined condition.
EntraPass WebStation |
The WebStation allows you to program cards from any computer using a web browser. The WebStation files are installed on a web server computer. Access is controlled with operator rights (like any Workstation) and access to the page is limited by number of concurrent users.
