ShadowProx Proximity Readers deliver outstanding and consistent performance with intelligent programming technology and stylish bezel designs. ShadowProx readers are available in an arch style and offer different mounting options. These readers are mountable on door mullions, on walls, on a single or double gang electrical box, as well as any flat surface. All ShadowProx 125 kHz Proximity Readers feature an added level of access control system security through a verification process at the reader that screens out unauthorized cards prior to sending card data to the host system. These readers use Kantech’s KSF cards (Kantech Secure Format) which provide increased security and absolute guarantee of no duplication of cards.
In addition to the 125 kHz HID proximity readers, Kantech offers the ultimate migration tool-the multiCLASS reader. MultiCLASS multi-technology card readers combine 125 kHz proximity technology and iCLASS 13.56 MHz contactless smart card and reader
technologies into a single reader. They are designed for customers who are upgrading their current card system from ShadowProx Proximity to ShadowProx iCLASS credentials or cards. Both “old” and “new” card formats can be accommodated which allows for a smoother transition. |
